Hey guys I'm Seffy! Just got an 07 Lancer CJ ES last week and I looked around to see what I can do with it in the future with the money I save up and found this forum! Hope to have a great time finding things I can do to my car here and enjoy the community!

Hey Seffy,
Congrats on the new purchase.
The SA guys are having a night cruise, but even if you're not keen on the cruise, go down and meet them before hand... details @ http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=12031

Thanks guys!
Yeah I might take a look at what's going on before they go on a cruise, hopefully I'm able to go.
YES. I found a lot of ways to spend already! I hate being a broke uni student now. :/ First and foremost my head unit needs a change. So I'm going to save up for that first. Still looking around the forums about them at the moment.
Crayon Pop "straight-five engine" dance ftw.

To keep it simple, you will need a dash kit.
You can get one from ebay for $70-150 (questionable fitting), Fitter can get you a decent fitting one for $170 (Aerpro) or a genuine one is about $300. Headunit will only be limited by the Uni budget. You might not be able to eat for a while LOL.

Love that car!

Sure I'll have a look at them. In terms of the head unit I have one with an AUX jack in my old Integra (that doesn't work anymore and I can't keep spending fixing it up; it broke twice already), so if I do get dash kit I'll just use that head unit for now, save up for a much better one.. I'm down with not eating for a while. Just gonna make food at home if I remember to!
Also my car's lighter went out on me earlier today... how unfortunate. Shouldn't be too much to fix up though I hope.

Hey thanks! I've got a 07 Lancer CJ ES. I think it was one of the first ones that came out.

Thanks mate! Haha yeah plenty of mods! So little money though, so I'm going to have to play it smart until I finish uni and have a full-time job.

So true. My old man had a 92 Lancer when I was younger and I loved it... I was actually upset when he sold it haha. Now that I've got a Lancer that I can personalize, I will definitely do so.
