Please answer if you know! How do you remove our door trims!

Hey everyone

So tonight im getting my interior wrapped and I was just wondering how do we take off our door trims ? and i know how to take off the one on the dash but i dont know how to take off the one near the steering wheel.

So if you know how to do it let me know or if there is a thread please send me a link

To remove the door trims you need to remove the screw on the outer edge of the door and the one in behind the release handle. Then it is just a matter of pulling the trim off the door. I usually find it easier to start at the bottom, but it is up to you where you start. Once the trim is unclipped you will need to release the wires from the window controls just a clip, and release the wire from the release handle.

Dont forget there is a concealed screw behind the door handle where the arm rest is and there is another concealed screw where the door release handle/lock latch is.
They are concealed by a plastic cap top - use a thin flat screw driver to pop the cap off and there you will see the screws.

Hmm I wrote up a DIY for this but can't find it.

Once you've taken the screws out popping the clips around the sides out is a bit scary especially with the sounds they make!

If you are really worried about breaking stuff you can get plastic removal tools from supercheap for about $20 a set... make life easy pulling apart interiors
