Welcome to the club.
Nice XR6.
The RA can be improved with a few mods.
Suspension I would go thicker rear anti sway bar and lower it. Coilovers are the best long term option or you can fit lowered springs but you will shorten the life of your shockers.
Power wise changing the waste gate and a larger inter cooler before a tune and it will be around the mark of the XR6.

If they find out. If you by a Tactrics cable and you have a lap top then you can put the tunes in yourself and if any thing goes wrong you just flash the factory tune back in.
It is worth it IMHO. It is fun and I love learning about tuning our cars. It feels a lot better doing things yourself then just paying for someone else to do it.
+1 tactrix openport (ECU OBD2 interface/reader) ($US170) plus optionally boost restrictor pill (~$20 US) replacement.
GST Motorsport basemap (free download) currently version 2.7 (v3.0 hinted as coming out very soon).
Honestly, the ECU flash changes the car - night and day difference. Easily the best bang for buck mod for any performance car out there - equal to LS1's MAFless tunes.... If you're familiar with the V8 brigades.
And depending on how far up north you are in QLD, a bigger intercooler may help. I do notice heat soak affecting my Ralliart when the temps were 35-40 degrees in summer.

Welcome Dan
A 'Free' tune the way to go, GST Stock Pill 2.7 (google it) makes a hell of a difference on it's own. The cost is a Tactrix cable (around $200) and a laptop. Advantage is is that you can always flash back to complete stock anytime.
For a real kw increase a boost pill (approx $15 from AMS (don't think GST sell them anymore) and a little time to install) and the GST boost Pill 2.7 flash will show you what the car can really do - it will give your XR some serious competition
At the end of the day it depends on how 'hands on' you are with engines and computers really - it's pretty simple stuff. Check out the ClubRalliart and EvolutionM forums for more detailed how-to's and comments.
Otherwise a professional tune with a boost pill will be $600 - $1000

to club CJ Dan. As what everyone else has said, get a tactrix openport 2.0 cable available from tactrix.com and you can flash your ecu to with the GST basemap v2.7
I did that to my RA and the difference is noticeable.
