QLD - 07/07/12 - invite from QMD for a workshop day

We will be holding a workshop day @ MrCDR from 10:30am on Saturday 7th.

Car need a new motor? Need some subwoofers or a head unit installed? Want your new amps tuned? New brakes fitted? Lowering? Detailing? Manual conversion?

What better way to get the job done than at our QMD Workshop Day!

This event will really only work out if we get a good attendance, so if you need something done, come along! If you dont need anything done, but know how to do things, come along too! This day is aimed as more of a social outing, stand around, talk about your car, steal ideas from other people then mod yours first, that sort of thing.

The idea is we all work as a team to help each other out. You bring the parts you need (oil, filter, etc) and collectively we supply the skills to get the job done (stand there and tell you how to do it )

So, here's the things you need to know:
Where: Mr CDR; 3/3-5 Deakin St, Brendale, 4500.
When: Saturday 7th of July, from 10:30am.
What Do I Need to Bring? Your knowledge, skills, and any parts you need fitting. Most tools will be available (car stands, jacks, basic power tools and hand tools), however, feel free to bring your own along.

We will need some Volunteer's to put their hand up to bring along some stuff to help with the lunch. Your donations will go to these people for their contributions.

First time i've heard of this, can I ask a noob question? Is Mr CDR a performance workshop?

I've wanted to fit an upgraded intercooler to my RA but after reading the DIY threads it sort of seemed like too much effort for myself.

I don't have all the bits anyway, but interested to see who's there and what goes on.

no mate its an I.T store, we just help members do things to theyre cars, all the tools are supplied, no hoist though.
