Whats a vendor?
Yea audio is probably the first thing on my list when i get my lancer but ive seen the head units can be a bit of a hassle seeing as though you need a fascia kit as well.

audio is really easy on CJ lancers.

as per the clubs constitution...

Vendors are companies who allowed access to sell their goods that sponsors do not offer on ClubCJ.net in their own forum section.

think of me as an online shop front.

ahh fair enough then :)
Well the set up im hoping for would be two subs in the back in the gaps on either side of the boot behind/infront of (depending on how you look at it :P ) the wheel arch. Amps possibly under front seats or anywhere else that they can be put away nicely and then maybe speaker up grades and a head unit of some sort.
sorry if the descriptions hard to follow, but thats the plan so far :)
Know of anyone with the subs in that spot? been trying to find pictures but most people seem to have the subs behind the backseats.

u can put subs there, the factory sub goes on the passenger side in that corner.

having 1 sub in each corner firing at eachother is actually a downside as the soundwaves "clash" and you get cancellation and lower the decible level created by the subs.

2x subs under the parcelshelf firing into the boot (like my display pic) means you end up with the subs loading pressure into the boot and a lot louder bass. my 2x 10" subs i used to run sounded and felt like a 15" sub, and also i was able to win Sound Off comps with them against guys with 2 or 3 12" subs.

ahhh makes sense. yea i've seen a couple with the one sub there just wondered why they didnt have one on the other side. Now thats cleared up :)

Under the parcel shelf is where it's gunna have to go then :P does it make a difference which way the subs face? My old magna had a 15" in that spot facing towards the front of the car and i always got a good shake from that.

bass is omnidirectional. soundwaves travel in all directions, thats why you see people putting sound deadening in their doors to stop resonating.

if u have the sub in a box u can move, spin around, flip on its side etc, then test it out and see what sounds and feels better for u as the driver. its your car after all.

a ported box is louder then a sealed box, but a sealed box has a better and tighter response to each bass note where as a ported box gets a little more rumbly.

So if i wasnt overly interested in how loud it got and was more interested in the crispness of it all a sealed box would be preferential?
Sorry if my questions are annoying, it just seems like theres sooo much to learn and each answer i get, 4 more questions pop up :P
