Led causing issues

Postby fluery » Sun May 27, 2012 10:00 am

Hi
Just got some led taillights from mars performance. Fitted ok but now traction control warning coming on 2 days after fitting. Says service required. Seems the leds has caused this. What can i do to fix?
Cheers

Hey Keith .....

read/view Ofeys second post Posted: 28th Jul 2009, 11:03pm:LED Tailights - Load Resistors

It shows the 5watt 180 Ohm Resistors you need to use & where/how to fit them.
These will remedy/fix your problem.

JayCar 5watt / 180 Ohm Wire Wound Ceramic Resistor
Catalog Part No: RR3280 ........ 40 cents each.

No .... I don't believe so .... it's happened to many of us before with no probs.

The worst it can do is disable your ASC Active Stability Control and/or Cruise Control.

So be mindful of these disabled features and drive accordingly/safely until the resistors are fitted.

Yeah it's fine to drive, no cruise sucks though!
