another oil change - Castrol titanium edge 5w 30 oil has been put in. Will go for a run on it tonight and see what kind of difference it makes to the 10w40, if any. Gotta say, to those of you who dont change your own oil, its worth doing yourself. Its kinda fun and saves a lot of money if you change your oil qute regularly.

looks sick, might have to do the same.
you create the sound, we control the voice
Greddy SP Elite and Takeda SRI are finally on.
Greddy is louder than expected but if anything I'm happy about it.
Takeda's induction sound is glorious.
Had issues installing both but you get that (a stripped bolt and my intake hose popping off the throttle body, resulting in a chilly barefoot jog and a sliced thumb whilst adjusting it).
Remains to be seem if the SRI is on properly now but its on DAMN tight.

My first oil change - 5600kms after purchase. OEM filter and Mobil 1 0W-40.
Existing oil was Castrol Magnetec Pro 5W-40 put in by the dealer, that caused the engine to sound rough/harsh at the high end, and I would avoid revving it past 4krpm for that reason. I didn't really fully trust the protection of a semi-synthetic oil in a turbo.
A quick drive around the block with the new oil and it seems to be smoother and more quiet.
