Oh if only you knew how much my girlfriend loves that ad Nick.
If that would work though I'd give it a go :P

Well now this begs the question has anyone changed insurance companies
and found a cheaper price?

I'm just curious because just car and NRMA (or SGIC for SA) are who
most of my friends are with. I'm hoping one or the other will get competitive
if I quote the other or are there better out there?

go to www.iselect.com.au ... Simplest way to compare insurance. I did it this afternoon and found a $600 saving on what I am paying at the moment. That is massive! It does all the work for you after you enter a few standard insurance type questions and then gives you the quotes. The big and only real difference between my current insurer and the cheapest one they found is I currently get 36 months new for old replacement and nearl all others are 24 month.

I don't work for iSelect or anything either, just a great tool.
Old enough to know better, still too young to care.

Awesome idea Jay thanks.
I had seen the iselect ad, not
sure why I didn't think of that.
Any you choose definitely need investigation
though, I certainly don't want to start with one company
only to find out they won't cover modifications *facepalm*

I once checked iSelect for health insurance but at that time, not all companies were listed there.

Try AAMI they aren't bad for insurance these days! They were the cheapest at the time for me!
