Led rear light wiring issue

Hi
I have just got some led rear lights and the wiring for the boot mounted lights doesnt hook up?
The connectors do not match. Has anyone else had this issue? And did you fix it?[/s]

I just wanted to add that the wires on from the led are red, black and green. theres on two wires on the cars harness to the connector.
this is prettu shitty as the lights on the car body connected up without issue.
the reverse lights do connect its only the light wires.

how do you post pictures on here?

basically, the connector on the new unit has three wires, red black and green and a rectnagle connector. the wire harnbess has two wires and a sqaure connector.

Which wire isnt being used if its connected to the harness, red black or green? Iam thinking of using a quick tap connector to link the wires?

cant provide pic of car harness as i have put it back together so i can drive to work.

from memory i had 2 positives a ground and a negative (or similar)...
on mine the leds plugged strait to the harness after u removed the bulb and the reverse light didnt get replaced
what lights did u buy? pic or link
