Hey Guys,

Just bought a new VR-X this week, picking it up on Saturday....YEWWWWW! Looking forward to reading more about the things everyone has done to theirs and the fun they have with them. Great site from what I can see so far.

Okay, so some of the details -

MY12 Lancer VR-X (Built Feb 2012)
Manual
Titanium
MMCS
Front windows tinted / Floor Illumination lights thrown in with the paint protection etc. kit.

Thinking about getting the Carbon Fibre look addons to the B pillars, side mirrors and rear spoiler, got a day or two to decide. Has anybody got these accessories when buying the car??? What did they charge for them???

(WTTC)
I guess the countdown is on until Saturday. :)

I got the carbon fibre look b-pillar inserts, but I kinda twisted their arm as they wanted to make the sale before their end of month and end of quarter to meet some sales target to get a bonus from the Mitsu or something.

Personally not a fan of the carbon fibre look shells on the mirrors, they look a bit fake... but that's just me. Ask to see them and make up your mind.

As a price guide, have a look at this thread. http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=1131 - these are trade prices we can get - please DO NOT go name dropping or expecting these prices from your dealer. THey'll probably laugh at you.

MZ314057 - Carbon Fibre-Look Insert Trim (B Pillar Lancer wording)
RRP=
CCJ= A$178.00

MZ314059 CF Look Mirror Covers
RRP=A$126+
CCJ=A$126.00

I'm not sure what you mean about the spoiler? The vinyl accent trims?

MZ314053 Sport Acct Trim RR Spoiler
RRP=A$49+
CCJ=A$42

You can but the same pre-cut vinyl trim cheaper or even in 3M DiNOC carbon fibre feel and look vinyl.

...and and I'm not sure in what area of Sydney you are, but we're having a mini-meet for a fundraise for one of our old committee members... you might want to come along, even if it's for a bit. :) details s@ http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=11163

There's heaps to learn here about modding your VRX
When you pick her up post some pics and try a meet or two you'll make a lot of new friends here

Thanks guys...I have just spent a lot of time on that thread after asking the question, I guess I should look first, ask later next time!!! I think I will def get them from here after, if I decide to go ahead.

And you are not wrong about counting down, I am itching for it, only getting more pumped the more I read all the great stuff that everyone is doing on here.

Thought I'd chuck this photo up of her at the car yard still, but will definately upload plenty as I get my mod on, heaps of great ideas floating around.

The meetup looks good too. I am a big fan of anything charitable, and if I get to come along to get some inspiration at the same time - WIN WIN!
