If I could go back in time I would thank myself for not getting a brand new lancer and waiting about a year for this one... it has everything I was goin to do it minus the MMCS... For approx half price... Just the only downside is it had 30k Kim's on the clock....but it was a women driver... So it was looked after!!
Mine's quicker then yours!!!

Yeah I see what you mean. It also took some time for me to be able to buy my first new car. My passion is just immense so I greatly appreciate any unused motor.

Just saw this thread and wanted to say I probably wouldn't have cheaped out on the mods over the years e.g. the RPW tune which I'm sure contributed to my dramas. Was very happy with the MRT guys.
Had a lot of fun with the Evo. Had I known I would sell it after only 2 years though maybe I wouldn't have modded it with things which were difficult to remove/sell e.g. the custom fab sub box and aftermarket amp which I spent several $k on at Lifestyle.

Not on my Lancer but prev ride: lowered springs. Biggest regret as it just made the car ride really hard and added next to no performance benefits. Even with aftermarket shocks, nolathane bushes, upgraded sway bars, etc. it would have been more cost effective to go coilovers from the beginning. Which is why I'm leaving the suspension on my current Ralliart stock!
