QLD - saturday or sunday for cruises *POLL*
hi ppl, just a little poll to help organise cruise dates.
i will still be asking on the cruise thread but this just gives us an idea of preferences.
and while i have your attention, the mini meets seem to be going ok, cept for the weather.
i`ll mention again that anyone can organise a mini meet but please check with fitter (matt) via PM what his schedule is, in case he has one coming up on the same date that he hasnt announced yet.
and dont forget the half day cruises, some of those would be fun
the next CCJ day cruise will probably be coming up at about the end of april/early may.

I think the logic for having Saturday cruises is that if it's a long one it gives you Sunday to wind down. Either day can be good, sometimes a Sunday drive to a good country pub etc is quite good.
I used to organise winery tours for the social club at work, they always used to get more numbers on Satudays for that reason (of course anyone who has been on a winery tour knows why you need a day to recover )

I agree with the comments above about having Sunday to recover.
But I think it should just alternate to give those with weekend commitments be it work/sport/other a chance to attend.
I would also like to see some smaller cruises as mentioned above, with a meet and short drive, as all the cruises I have seen promoted since joining the forums have been very long. I'm sure there would be better attendance if it wasn't always a full day slog and several hundred km.

either for me , i have work commitments on both days ,
if i can get out of it i will .
i like all dayers .
if someone has gone 2 the trouble of organising a cruise i'm not gonna complain
