How much more of a difference is it than having the front/rear struts?

I only had the tower strut bar before these fender bars. Both of them make a huge difference. Only thing now is you can feel the back of the car rolling when you go round a corner, but not the front. So I'll be moving on to the rear bars next. Hope that answered your question :)

Oh it IS extreme :P
It just feels so much more steady going around corners now. Like I said before ^^^ I'll be putting in the rear ones because the back of the car still rock and rolls a bit but yeah...Love it!!! :D

Tried and failed to install replacement foglamp bulbs.

Vaguely remembered this how-to guide I read online some weeks back. Proceeded to blindly remove the grill covering the fog lights. Darn thing wouldn't unclip after removal of screws, and I didn't want to exert more force cos it's all plastic and something's bound to break - and recalling my previous breaking of the rear number plate light clips, I didn't want more things I don't have time to fix.

Like that time I couldn't undo the rattlegun torqued wheelnuts to change a tyre, I felt like I failed as a man today... ;)
