FEEDBACK please!

How did everyone's front bars go in terms of fitting? Were there any problems fixing it on and is it aligned flush with the surrounding panels?

I've finally got the replica rear bar on and am contemplating getting the front bar now. Wish i can figure out how to post up pictures on this thread. Overall quite happy it, but alignment is not flush perfect. Right side has a gap of about 2mm and is loose when pressed against. My panel beater didnt do a great job with painting the diffuser section either - i have a black lancer and my evo diffuser is a light grey colour! need them to re-paint it >_<

On a brighter note, the evo spoiler is bloody awesome =) great quality, fits perfectly and looks just like the real thing. Highly recommend it if anyone's interested

Jack, go back to page 30 and u can see a list of the fitting issues for the front bar - easily fixed, just a pain in that arse

if u have an NA lancer the underbody panels line up, if its an RA then they wont - like SEB15 discovered

Front bar is a 95% mach! You will need to make some slight modifications to fitt the bar (trimming and drilling on the bar) other than that im pretty happy with it!

Just to assure those affected financially from this group buy, I am still communicating with both the manufacturer and the couriers for an insurance claim.

I will update this as we go along.

Has the manufacturer responded about the chrome trims yet or still playing the avoidance game?

Unfortunately not.
The local insurance claim didn't go through due to their claim of lack of packaging.
The Taiwanese on the other hand have disappeared and refuse to take my phone calls much like Shadows.

It's here with me. Dispatching it is a problem due to its fragility and size.

Are you saying that Transdirect has rejected our insurance claim?

yes. TD has rejected our claim.

I played this 2 ways.
1. I attempted to claim locally via TD. Since some people got undamaged bonnets.

2. I also claimed from the manufacturer in Taiwan. That along the way here some got damaged.

In other words, if the claim with the Taiwanese company falls through as well, the loss is our own to absorb?
