Postby BUZZ_QWERTY » Mon Apr 02, 2012 7:55 pm

So I got my windows tinted today and I really want to get some new tail lights... Does anyone know the cheapest place to get RA tail lights?

I have, most seem to be aftermarket lights from ebay.... I'm looking for RA tail lights though. I found an DIY on installing the RA lights from 2008 but it doesn't say where they were bought

getting the RA/VRX lights are hard to get hold of, unless someone upgrades to LEDs and then they get snapped up quickly.

the ones that Ryan (Hoges) has are 99% the same, the only difference is that the indicator has a clear lense and not orange, IMO better looking

Yeah I just had a look at Hoges, they are pretty similar... think I might just try and pick a pair of them up. Cheers buddy!

There was an OEM set sold on eBay , went for $305 plus postage from QLD
Seems too much for a second hand set but they are out there just keep an eye out for them

Do the SX lights qualify? They look exactly the same as Hoge's ones but with an orange lense indicator instead of clear. Wanting to upgrade to LED's :).

Is there actually any difference between the RA/VRX and ES/VR lights?

Hoges wrote:Thats what myself and justinR have and what bd_850 had. They will be fine mate. Be very careful removing the corner cluster not to snap the corner off. U need to be very gentle and ready for it to let go. There are 2 studs that hold it on. I recommend laying a few layer of masking tape down around the lights on the car to stop accidental scratches

Cheers mate... got them in without a hassle
