Changed the engine oil and filter. My first ever attempt, not sure why I've never tried it earlier. The hardest part was trying to figure out the filter wrench thing.

I always admire guys that try for themselves rather than pay for everything to be done to their cars.

I understand that not everyone is able or capable, so that's also OK also.

But give it a try, where & when you can .....

I was running Bendix HD Pads ...
But wasn't happy about the squealy biting sound the fronts pads always made on slotted rotors just as they come to a full stop.
The rears pads were fine .... no squealy biting sounds on plain rotors.

I don't think the Bendix HD pads were designed to match/work properly on slotted rotors .... :(

not what i did...some stupid person hit my car today and didnt leave a note. was a big hit, rear bumper is scratched in quite a few places and actually cracked just above where the tow push out hole thingy is. not happy.

ra bumper would be nice but cant put anything good on my car cos someone will damage it :(

thats like with anything nowadays, but if you worry about others then you cant enjoy your lancer :D
