Hey everyone - I've purchased some LED wedge bulbs (SMD) for my licence plate lights, but they seem to have blown...and only after ~2 hours night time driving. Obviously you get what you pay for, and so I went for the more expensive end of the ebay bulbs. Only to have them blow after a short period of time too (a nice spark too when I went to replace them...).
So here's the thing, can anyone recommend me either a more reliable place to buy some White T10 LED's or alternative bulbs?
EDIT: Found some non-LED xenon whites @ http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Xenon-T10-168-19 ... 2536wt_911 . Thoughts?

When I bought T10 LEDs off ebay, they lasted ~2 weeks before flickering in output and eventually having no light at all after about 6 weeks.
I've had great success with Jaycar's T10 LEDs. 4 or more quantity it's like $1.60 each, which isn't too bad a price compared with ebay. They lasted 18 mths+ and were still working when I traded the car in.
As for non-LEDs, I've purchased a set of Narva blue T10s at retail. The bulb is heavily coloured blue (just like the linked ebay ones in your post), however the light output is just as dull and disappointingly yellow as a normal OEM bulb.

Are they a cool white colour or do they also try to replicate the whole xenon white look? If it's cool white I'll probably pick up some of the 4-LED versions.
Also, I've got some 8-SMD parkers...but now I'm worried about how long they might last.

Isn't that an illegal colour?

Xenon HID White T10-168-194 W5W Wedge 5 SMD LED Bulbs
Sorry for being a noob. There are a few different size for the T10 194 W5W. Is this the one going to fit for our lancer License Plate?
