An update on where the route may change on the day; there are controlled burn off's throughout the south west region from March-April. Main burn offs are from Deans Marsh-Anglesea but other regions further out may have burn offs too.
There will be signs out if roads are closed.

Thanks for that Tim, I hadn't thought of checking the planned burn offs.
The DSE map has fires planned close to our route at Lorne, Wye River and Gellibrand.
Hopefully there are no delays, and the fires don't affect us.
Now might be a good time to remind everyone of the club rules for events

I might not be able to come for this.
As of yesterday, I don't have a car in my possession.
It's at a workshop having some things done to it.
We'll see when I get it back.

The car went. Not me.
They told me to drop it off on Monday.
There is no fixed time for the return.

You have put the effort in so I will still come along. Was kind of hoping new car arrived before this as I didnt want to take the thing out for that long in its current condition. Got few weeks left on wait for new car.
The bakery in Lorne has really nice rolls though, the IGA up there sells them too. They worth the drive out there.

Another car down and out?
The cruise is on this Sunday, so come one come all!
Meet points are 9am at the Laverton McDonald's, and 10.30am at the Waurn Ponds Bunnings.
Please remember to
- fill up beforehand (there are servos very close to both meet points)
- charge your camera and CB radio
- bring water/food
- read the plan, know the route
- be aware of the rules
- bring a smile
I'm sorry guys but I'm going to have to pull out of this event. Ordinarily I would be the very last person to say no to a cruise, but unfortunately due to the damage I took at Winton last week, I feel it would be unsafe for me to drive it out onto some twisties, let alone for such a distance. I will also be without the car for the next few weeks for the repairs to be made so unable to attend any upcoming meets either
Hope you all have fun and a great day!
