Anyone out there have or know anyone interested in trading my red for black tailights or have black ones going reasonably cheap?

Problem is nobody wants the RED tail lamps.
Your best bet is, whenever you see an aged person driving a new MY12 ES, offer them a trade and throw some money their way. It may work.

Theres a couple of wrecks you could try on eBay atm...

Or, do what i and a few others have done, and purchase new ones from the US, works out cheaper :)
