OEM Tail lights led style

Hey all, was wondering if anybody could help me with a question I have.
I have the old Audi style LED taillights and an auto elec installed load resistors for me to stop errors. These newer ones must have them in built so if I was to buy these would I also need to remove the load resistors already in place or would the lights go unaffected?
