Last time I was at a car wash was with 3 mates and we all noticed it and were freaking out coz we'd never paid attention to it previously...all 4 cars had it so I'm pretty sure it's nothing to freak out about, however, I'm SURE that if you applied paint protection this wouldn't happen but that costs quite a bit of $$$..Either way these scratches are only seen under certain light and in rare circumstances such as straight after a wash so I wouldn't worry about it too much unless someone can give you a more detailed opinion...
That can't be an ES !

Cut and polish is very harsh on the paint work I would strongly recommend a profession opinion before doing that. Look on the Meguiars webpage for your own car personal detailing

If you know how to use a claybar properly you can
This, but make sure you use the scratch x, then CLAY BAR, then polish. This method will hide most of the imperfections in clear coat pretty well.
