What did you do on your car today?

Changed low beam bulbs to Philips Crystalvision Ultras. Changed parking lights to Jaycar white LEDs $1.60 ea, I thought why not...

Also since the rear number plate lights were the same W5W/T10 as the parkers, I changed them to white LEDs too. Only I managed to snap the clip-locks on the left number plate light, so it's not attached too firmly right now... added to the growing list of niggling little things wrong and trim pieces missing on the car that I would like to get sorted out but won't have the time to do so (plus the long overdue carwash - it's still 4WD/offroad stained from 2 weeks ago).

Also another thing I noticed, I tried to put some LED parkers in and one would stay on and the other would blink. Swapped globes and the same thing. Got new set of LED's and it still did it. Ended up with some normal Philips ones.
Any ideas?

with the globes was it 1 particular LED or 1 particular side that was blinking?

Hey dirtee, it was the same side that blinked, all four LEDs I tried did it on the same side.

tried to put on evo x intercooler only to find that i don't need a reducer pipe but just a 2 1/2 " silicon conector pipe.
so bit of a wasted day...

but i did get my crome surround proffessionally painted semi gloss blaaack
next door .

so this is a bit late, but over the last two weeks i have
a) installed SokieTech hood dampers
b) relocated my ECU down to the front left (passenger) corner behind the headlight, and re-grounded the conduits.
And before you ask why I did such a thing, I'm going to be reshaping my air-box and intake piping with a friend to allow a higher airflow. should be taking some moulds and measurements tonight, hopefully with be made (fibreglass and carbon fibre) in the next week or two.

I also cut the battery tray and slid it a little closer to the engine (will be heat-shielding, never fear) so that I could actually fit the ECU wiring down the side of it.
Don't have pics currently, but I'll take a few tonight when I get home from uni.

If you get the SokieTech hood dampers, they're extremely tight the first time you try and put the hood down, so push on the outside of the hood right above the dampers instead of trying to pull it down. I'm going to grease them up a little bit extra tonight.
