Gunyah Animal Healing Sanctuary - can you help please?

Postby bunnishiwa » Thu Mar 08, 2012 4:15 pm

Hi,

I support a number of charity's relating to animal welfare. One of them, Gunyah Animal Healing Sanctuary ( www.gunyah.org , www.facebook.com/gunyah ) has been entered in the sunsuper dreams contest. This is a competition where listed charity's or good causes can put up a wish and people can vote - the winner at the end of the month with the most votes gets $5000. For Gunyah this money could be the lifeline they need to keep operating. As a sanctuary, rather than a shelter, they do not have the constant movement of new cute rescued animals to post on Facebook and the like to keep interest up, and as such are having a few funding issues. The work they do with the animals that are there is critical to these animals long term wellbeing. Please note that I am not personally or professionally affiliated with Gunyah in any way other than that I sponsor one of the animals they care for.

Please please please take a moment of your time to help Gunyah by voting for them and helping them get to #1 by the end of the month. If you are so inclined please ask other people (friends, relatives, work collegues) to vote - that would be awesome.

The link to vote is

http://sunsuperdreams.com.au/dream/view ... -sanctuary

To vote in the competition simply involves clicking 'vote', entering your first name, email address and a verification code. Then, for some public email addresses (eg hotmail, gmail) receive an email and click on the link provided to confirm the vote. I have been voting on various issues over the months and have not received unsolictited spam of any nature from doing so

Thank you for taking some time to read this - please feel free to add your own comment, to keep this thread up there - remember, any extra votes would be a massive boost to the residents of Gunyah. Voting closes on the 31st March

Many thanks

Marc
