Hey guys,
well to get to the point i've been surfing youtube alot for DIY's and how-tos for all types of CJ stuff but 90% of the time i dont find anything worth my time expect for the great video's Tadz makes on his Channel
But i thought... why not make a YouTube channel where i put up everything i do to my car (I've had a few people asking me how i've done stuff), each Mod, and how i did it whether is a simple Dome light to wrapping my interior in carbon vinyl. It will be myself, Tim (timmo91) doing the main video's and hopefully a few other's around my area if they wish to get things done.
A channel for all CJ Lancer Installs.
So here is is so far, CJLancerInstalls
NO VIDEOS AS OF YET waiting till i get some orders in the next 2 weeks.
Let me know your opinions on this as i'd love support from members and the club too.
Cheers
Tim

sweet as, what i meant by other people was using their car to do things, so ill come over and help with sutff that they want done and just film edit and stuff and have their car up. so its kinda like a channel where say you wanted your car debaged or something, ill come over do it with your help, film it and up load it... see what i mean?

yeah, i still want help from people and stuff, like each build day i film it and do a how-to on how we did it, like for when i get my carbon vinyl ill be wrapping the silver trim with that, ill post a video about it. just a way for people to visually see the process instead of through text and pictures.

Mizta B wrote:Sounds like a good idea Timmy It should help lots of members to mod their rides with confidence Great concept Cheers Chris
Thanks Chris
Thats the main driving force behind my idea, ive been thinking about it for awhile It's so that fellow members can easily see and watch how a particular mod is done to a car, and have the confidence to do it themselves. and also a great way to promote the club to people who dont know of us yet
I think this will make an excellent addition to the content of the club.
A short list of ideas for videos should be made and ticked off as people get around to doing them. (either via an experienced member helping a new one with their mods or someone installing on their own car)
Here's some ideas I could think of off the top of my head. (sorry if they have already been done and I forgot)
1. Ralliart intake and engine bay cowling mod
2. Front Vinyl install
3. Exhaust install (axel back, cat back, headers or all at once)
4. Basic Self servicing (in between Mitsu warranty service intervals) covering
A. Spark plug how to check and change if only needed
B. Air filter change
C. Coolant flush and change
D. Oil flush and change
E. Oil Filter change
F. Check brake/clutch fluid levels and change if needed
G. How to check tyre wear with wear markers etc.
5. Coil over installs (for Sedan and sport back as the rear installation is slightly different)
6. New Wheels installs taking special attention to use hub rings, wheel sizes and tyre sizes.
7. Xfactor product installs such as
A. EvoX Wing
B. Front Air dams
C. Side skirts
D. Leather interior (that will be a long complex and frustrating one hahah)
Anyhow yea we should do a good list and tick them off as members complete them and videos and content could be moderated by the comm. if two people make the same video it goes to a simple voting poll as to which stays in the YouTube channel.
Sound like a good idea?

Great Idea Nick!
Im really Keen on setting up a few playlist's or series that focus on the following.
- Tutorials and How To's
Informative videos - that focus on certain aspects of modding/lancer specs/information/car maintenance/etc
Project Car series - where a select few members will be able to make a series that shows their progress on their cars and how they do each mod - linking back to the how-to's and stuff
Cruise/meets/races/etc
I myself would like to be an admin for it, but would like only 1 or 2 other people, suck as Mods/Coms/president to help with the site.
Each video has to be high quality - both video quality but most importantly an extensive look at how each mod is done down to a tee.
Each series will have a few seconds opening credits which will be the same on each video to keep it all formal and i'd love to be able to say "Brought to you by ClubCJ.net" at the start of each Vid
Let me know some more details people!
Cheers
