Nominations opened after a members banning tends to indicate that even if they have been nominated...they have still been banned for a reason.

All becomes public Thu evening once all nominees have responded. There are no secrets... I think you are listening to the wrong people who are misinforming you. I've made it clear how the process will run from the outset. Besides I have no reason to lie about when the said member was nominated because everyone will see the lie when the sub-forum is public on Thu. Would I be that silly? no.

The 8pm AEDT deadline has now passed for nominees to reply and accept their nomination.

The nominations sub-forum is now open for public viewing. All threads are locked.

I will be configuring the Survey Monkey poll tonight and push out emails this evening. Polling will be open for 7 days from when polls open.

I will also open up the nominee showcase late this evening for those that want to Q&A their committee members to find out which one they wish to direct their vote to. There will be clear rules on how this will be conducted to avoid any inflamatory/off topic questions not directly related to the role they are running for.

in a situation where a member has been nominated but doesnt respond, and all other people nominated for the same postion say no or dont respond, does the position automatically go to the pre existing holder of that position?

I would love to read the nominations.

It should include the 2 admin stating the positions they chose to go for before they knew who they could be against.

This is the only fair way as all other members had to choose before they new who they could be against.
