Star Wash Cafe - Paint Protection Detail

Postby jeffers » Sun Jan 15, 2012 6:22 pm

Just looking for opinions on franchisee Star Car Wash. Has anyone used their Star Paint Protection detail?

I just bought a new Lancer and opted out of the overpriced Ming protection package from the dealer.

However as this is my first new car, i am a bit apprehensive to apply the wax/paint protection methods myself.

Please see the link

http://www.starcafewash.com.au/html/pri ... ection.php

Would this be sufficient enough to protect the paint for a good 6 months you reckon? Cost is $349. Also is it something i should do ASAP as i've had the car for about 2 days and my car is parked on the street.

Opinions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks.

Agreed with Ryan. It is very easy to apply. No skill required, just patients and a nice cool shaded area.

I know a good place to get it done and they're not expensive too... PM me if you need details. I got 2 cars done and they did a very good job no wax or any marks on plastic or rubber surfaces.

@ Miguel ..... That's a good offer of advice since you have tried & tested them.

Hopefully all this advice will help Jeffry with his decision on what & where to do.
