Can you post-up some Good & Close-Up pics of your New Tailights. (at different angles also)

I understand they are "Smoked" ..... I have "Smoked" which I pruchased from Ofey 2yrs ago ..... But mine look Very Clear & Chromed.

If I see you new Pics .... I might just Hit-Up Ofey & purchase an Alternative Set.

Likewise .... Ofey: Perhaps you could Photograph these New "Smoked" Tailights for a Comparo.

Here are some more pics of my LED tail lights. (thanks again Ofey they're awesome)

Please note in the second pic the lights are on, where in the other shots they are off. The lenses are slightly smoked, in comparison to the RA tail lights I had before, but it's probably only about a 5% tint.

The photos show how they look under different daylight conditions.

Those LED lights sure look nice. Ofey's current firesale is awesome, but I don't dislike the RA-style lights.
Definitely something worth getting if you have the older red lights.

Thanks Adrian for the pics ..... They Do Look Like the Ones I bought from Ofey 2yrs ago.
I thought the Lenses were More Smoked on these new ones that Ofey is offering .... But they seem to be Only Very Slightly Smoked (hardly noticeable)

No Point buying New Ones .... they're almost Identical to what I already have ... If Not Exactly.

@ Sam when Glen comes back will have to ask what Tail-lights he has ? They look even darker then the smoked one's but don't look like the black-out one 's ..... I really like Glen's one's ....

Just installed my alloy fuel door and also tinted my side indicators... Not bad for a first job

Well I was originally going to tint my brake lights, but It didn't really work out. So I made use of the tinting film on my side indicators.
I just used a heat gun and a "sqeegee" wrapped in a cloth. I pretty much just had a look on youtube of people tinting their lamps etc. I found that its easier not to use a soapy solution-just stick it on in the middle and work your way out to the edges!

I ordered some Smoke Tint Wrap from the US after Boxing Day to do the same as you have done ... still waiting for it to arrive.

Thanks Sam, yeah it does look heaps better. What % smoke did you get? Mine is 20%. Anyway, would love to see how yours turn out, make sure you show us when its done!

Just wanna point out you can also get tinting done using VHT's Nite Shades:



It is a completely reversible process by using Goof Off!:



Best of all, the Nite-Shades is customisable to whatever darkness.
The more you spray, the darker it becomes.
