Ok just to let you know Anthony without trying to argue... atm there are some cheaper alternative CJ lancer headlights that have projector housings atm... u might wanna look into em then putting in HIDs in those... they would look a lot btr and i guess better for other road users? justa thought :)

As others have said, HID's shouldnt be used in halogen headlamps however im not here to convince you not to do it, rather advise you on the best way to go about it.

Regardless of if your putting HID's in your car without the correct projector lense, you will run the risk of damaging your standard headlamps due to the tempreture increase in the bulbs. You will pretty much burn your headlamp if you run something with something too high

Another thing to consider, brighter isnt always technically better. Yes your HIDs are 12000k but that light is being blasted all over the shop and not in the direction you need. Therefor you would be better off going for like a 4200k HID, white with a bit of a blue tinge, wont affect other drivers AS MUCH and still have a usuable amount of light which is being projected onto the road and not everything else around it.

I for one have HID's in everysingle car i own and my parents own my bro own and even the 89 shit box camry that i drive. I can spot HID's from a mile a away I am still waiting to be blinded by Hids of oncoming traffic. Its a matter of how you adjust the light how its toward the road. Those philips bulbs blind me more than HIDs.

And tads if im not mistaken the HID's run alot cooler than the standard halogens.

Well I'm not getting neither of them. 6000k Is what I'm getting which is most probably best because it's in the middle of performance and good looks ;)

A raised 4x4 with stock headlights is far worse then a lower car with HID's.

I luckily fall into both categories ;)
