Postby klvru » Wed Nov 23, 2011 8:56 pm

Hey, just wondering what are you thoughts of colour for rim on a Red car?

Thinking of gun metal :)

Need some more options before I paint my wheel :) Tried black, wanna try something different

I rekon a black or gold/copper colour always looks good on the red. Im looking at getting new wheels soon and have been looking at getting some matte black ones, with coils and durrmmppeedddd

Gun metal gray looks really good on a red car, also black rims with a red pinstripe look good too.

I'm a little biased for these too...

matte black with machined face with red rim stripe - looks good on any coloured car

Don't worry what other people think.
If we all said to paint them fluro green would you????!!!!
I kinda went down the same road and a few guys recon that chrome will not work on any CJ colour.

Well I went for a set of ANZ enforcers which are chrome and gloss black.
I think they look great on the car (as seen below!)

i think it depends on the whole look your going for,

Lukes wheels for example, look good on his car, but if the car was stock, i think they would look horrible as if they were the only wheels available at the time.

Ditto that.
My wheels kinda tie in well with the body kit/colour scheme
