Should be legal... nothing looks like it would be illegal

Not a fan of full circle halos like that.. prefer the cut off version (like mine), makes them look more angry!! >:)

As soon as you put a HID globe in them they will not be legal unless you have autoleveling, and washers.

In saying that, providing you can adjust them properly, and they have proper projectors etc in them, they are as close to legal as you can get.

These will fit any CJ lancer.... The part is a direct swap
I would assume these will be non HID, and levelling would only be via the normal adjustment screws.

This is not the thread to bring up HID questions, there are enough of those in the lighting section.

Do as u wish on your own car. The bottom line is without projector lenses, auto-levellers and washers, they are illegal to retro fit in Australia.

I have a feeling the first set are for Lancer or Evo's fitted with HID as standard. The centre light looks like the active light we have that comes on when turning.

I highly doubt that Troy cuz firstly if they did do that they would be losing potential customers who dont have HIDs as standard and as such would make these headlights less profitable for them considering they are making large amounts of these.... and secondly troy if they did have active lighting it would be an additional cost to them and you will not be seeing a price of 500-600 for these....

Evo is a big market. Normally Evo's get after market before Lancers.

Well I hope so.

You guys are going to love me... .

The manufacturer we deal with for the Evo Replica parts knows the supplier of these head lamps.

Our manufacturer is NOT impressed with the build quality of the first one.
However, he says the 2nd one is passable.
The price I guess in indicative of quality.

His opening offer to me is for A$200 a set + delivery charges on top.
That's actually cheaper than his tail lamps which are A$300 + delivery

I've asked if he can sell me one set to test.
Unfortunately, our shipment of evo parts left yesterday.
So... .

Who wants to bite at A$200 + delivery to me? Even by air mail it won't cost more than A$320 for the pair.
I think it's cheap enough to try. Anyone in Melbourne wanna try it for us?

I will get more pictures soon... . So stay tuned
