For all VIC members, if your car isn't parked under cover tonight. Please find somewhere to store it.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
for DAMAGING WIND, FLASH FLOODING and LARGE HAILSTONES



This is especially for those in the west of our state i.e. Geelong, Werribee
These thunderstorms are moving towards the east to southeast.

well i'm now on a bus home. i don't know how bad the storm is going to be but the weather warning went so far as to say that it was going to be "dangerous", so better to err on the side of caution.

i get the short end of the stick whem it comes to parking at home and its my car out in the open. i dont seethe poimt of risking it though. good luck to us all.

My car is out in that weather as we speak :( I havent got a cover for it at my new place. Hopefully all is well in the morning....

Wasn't too bad I say, my car seems fine, fully cleaned. I leave next to a flood drain thing... partial overflow there. Lots of hail but not as bad as last years one

Prevention is better than cure I say.

Most of the places hit were in the far West and South East.

Someone suggested he'd give up their covered parking to get his car replaced by insurance if the hail storm was hard enough.
But consider if it was just 1 or 2 bumps and the trouble you'd have to go through with a claims process.

More easily said than done... .

Was at my uncle's birthday gathering yesterday and mine got hit by hail :( about 6pm (there's about 10 dents - it was dent free before)

I have one from the last round I wanna get rid of.
Perhaps we should all group together and hire a guy to do all the cars in VIC.
