Take out radio
On the left side of the glove box there is a cover running down from the side of the glove box.
Pinch it in at the top while pulling it out but not too hard. There you will see a screw that holds the silver strip of the dash take that out then go to the other end near the steering wheel and slowly prise that end off, I used an old tooth brush to get under it.
Then it’s a matter of doing the same with the dash part that holds the radio in starting at the bottom slowly pull it off that it should all come out. It only clips in place.
When replacing start with putting the top back into place.
Thats only how to get the dash & radio part out of the dash I dont know how to replace the radio in the dash part .click here to see the unit

when I say dash part.
I only know after watching a guy fit my LCD/reverse cam SatNav ect, after which I did it myself to fit a TV turner.
Hope this helps but be careful with the first step I did mine a few times and now the plastic cover is loose and does not fit all that well.

I will correct you again Ben you do not need to remove the whole dash to get the radio out. Just follow my instructions and the whole unit dash part & radio/cd comes out. As I stated in my first post I watched the guy from Andrews Car Radios remove my radio and replace it with a LCD screen again see link in earlier post and he did not take the whole dash out and I even did it myself to add a TV turner behind the LCD screen so how is it I did not have to take the WHOLE DASH out????
And as to the search function I have tried to use it on more than 1 occasion to no avail so it’s not all you make it out to be.
Mate the guy is new no need to be rude to him.

Again there is no need to be RUDE.
I thought this was a club for like minded people who have a love for their car and when new to something or somewhere one sometimes does not know the in's and out's of a site and thinks it might be easier just to ask then spend a long time searching the site for answers and then other members could "politely" point him in the right direction. I personaly would expect more from a "committee lifetime member"
