Stuff me that looks nasty.
As long as you're OK though, that's the most important thing. The car will be good as new after the insurance guys take care of it.

hugs* (no homo) - I felt for you when I saw the car and you afterwards... it's a bit of a shit deal.
If I understood correctly, you turned into the path of the oncoming car as you were turning right into a street....
Hope you can argue that the oncoming car should've slowed down or something. Really if there were no skid marks from the other car, what effort did they make to take reasonable steps to avoid collision. If you can say that you judged the timing to allowing enough to make the turn, perhaps they should be pinged or not have you stung with neg driving. As always I suspect the cops will trying and string you with neg driving and 3 demerit points because you are young and won't push back hard enough. If you honestly think you did the reasonable thing and were not negligent, push back state your case to the attending officer, can't hurt - you have nothing to lose.
Anyway, best of luck and see you soon... hopefully with a shiny new car (maybe a CJ) - and dont be a stranger.

I got there yesterday a little after you left. Seriously feel for you.

The silver lining could be that if it is a write off and you are still under that 2 year new car insurance thing, you might end up with an MY12 and they look like they have some cool features added to them.

@Dave: Glad to know you're ok.

Not so glad about the car.
If there's anything you need from me, please feel free to PM.
Good luck with the claims process.

Mate that sucks big time... but your okay so thats good.

Look at the positives, if its a ride-off you get a shiny new car to play with and a fresh plate to start modding from :)

Glad to see you got out of it OK, it's a real shame about your CJ
I hope they give you a nice shiny MY12 soon bud and if there's anything you need just holler
Take care -

Damn! Like the rest said, glad you're ok. I was just wondering insurance wise, will any of your mods affect the claims process? I've been in some close calls (stupid drivers cutting in without indicating/checking).

MY12 VRX WITH RA FRONT FTW! ;)

Man that's horrible. Glad you are Ok. Sorry it's taken so long to get to your PM. No wonder I haven't seen you on the way to work mate.

Glad you are ok. As everyone says, that IS the main thing. I'm sure there will be more Lancer fun to be had down the track.
