Wouldnt MY12 be the last of the Ralliarts though since ralliart folded and also mitsubishi is goin with the less carbon emissions route with future cars... even the next evo is slated to be a hybrid....

I believe the MY12 models dont come with the top front strut brace either.

Yea now the coulours are titanium and warm silver and cool silver...

So I emailed my dealer (Suttons Arncliffe) regarding possibly fitting the 2012 Lancer Reverse Camera in my 2010 Activ and here is the reply:

Hi Karl,

In regards to your query about the 2012 Lancer reverse camera we ourselves don't have a listing or any technical data yet in regards to the reverse camera setup,specifically whether they will be a factory order option or a dealer fitting scenario.
However I have checkked all options on the 2010 Lancer range and what we have listed is the reverse sensor kits only.

Effect Grey is a tough colour to get right. I suspect Mitsubishi are moving to easier colours to mix.

And as for your reverse camera, you will need to give the parts department time to catch up.

Ofey.. exactly the same thing I told my wife about the camera but she wanted me to ask straightaway cause she is just a new driver.. she wouldn't let it go until I sent an email.

She doesn't know I bought her a new Fiesta and planning to give it on her birthday and I have to keep the facade going until then.

I haven't had much time this week to comment about these developments.

The new wheel looks fugly IMHO.
The plan to give the VRX a RA front bumper bar? As lancervr pointed out early on in the piece, other markets have already seen this happen. So no surprise this would have happened.

Looking at what the VRX is now, I think it's MMA's way of staying competitive and to keep the CJ attractive just for the very end of the life cycle of this shape till the new shape shows itself in 2013.

Soft touch plastic? About time really... . Now I can't wait for the new Lancer.

Reverse parking mirror? They were simply meeting a safety requirement

I think the trim that gains the most is the VR. It is now a really interesting prospect. Saw a VR today with the boot release button. With Smart key already there, it's probably the only mod you cannot retrofit.
So best value sitting there.

Some collation of information from what I've heard:

- SX no longer available
but an ACTIVE model which is a souped up ES may come through again after the success of the last ACTIVE release.

All models will see:
- soft touch materials
- no more front tower strut bar
- wheels are from 10 spoke to 8 spokes

New colors range is:
White
Cool Silver
Black
Red
Lightening Blue
Orange

Titanium
Warm Silver

Production commenced Septmber 2011.

No more front tower strut bar?? What does this mean?? How it effects suspension??

I don't think it affects suspension in any way. But it would affect the steering of the car.

So I suspect there will be some changes in the steering and suspension to come with the car.

We'll see.
