i cant see the value in upgrading just to get the new model. there isnt that many new features that would be worth the amount it would cost you to change your car. yes, the RA front is nice. i think the current vrx rims are a nicer wheel then the new ones.
has anyone got any info on the new colours??

I agree on the wheels.

I am not a fan of the RA front except for the chrome ring around the grills. I prefer the Lancer fog light look.

Champagne is no longer available or Mystic blue.

There is a new blue colour i believe.

I too am interested on the fuel economy and the new interiors.

Part of the reduction in fuel consumption comes from switching to electric power steering and reducing power to 110kw.

Do you think they could/would fit that reversing camera system inbuilt into the mirror if we wanted to pay for it to be done to the older models?

I had electric power steering in my 08 corolla. Better steering response overall.

the soft plastics are really needed to be honest.. and hoping the reverse camera via the rear view mirror can be adapted to older models.

I'm still gobsmacked that the vrx has the RA front amongst other goodies. How tempting is it now to purchase one??

@GlenoCJ: Not tempting at all. Bodyshape will change in 18mths time.

It would make sense for someone to buy the MY12 if they needed a car now but its senseless to sell your MY09 or MY08 (even more senseless if you had a MY10 or MY11) to get the MY12.

Wait and see what the new bodyshape is like. If you don't like it then by all means buy a MY12 which I'm sure will go cheaper then... .

ofey is right on the money. the leather seats in the vrx is probable the best improvement of all.
