Hi Ofey,
Sorry it's taken me so long to reply on this, having a hard time getting internet access over here and can't do anything on here, on my phone.
At this time, It isn't feasible for me with the bodykit, not when I still have to get it painted (yes I know everyone else does too). Money is tight at the moment, mostly due to the holiday and no work for 5 weeks.
Hopefully in the future, I'll get one.
I'll still get the taillights, if you can PM me your bank details and the costing, I'll send it to you as soon as I can.
Really sorry to pull out, I know it's going to make an odd number now, front with no rear.

OK guys, to those who are sitting there mulling over creative excuses to pull out at this stage or those trying to. Don't.
Srsly, reality check. Please!
You've committed to buy, the item is yours.
If your circumstances have changed, tough.
That's life.
Man up.
It is now your item and if you need to sell it to recoup your costs or get quick cash for unexpected bills, so be it. Start up a FS thread or sell it some other way.
Take ownership of your own problems and difficulties. What you are trying to do is basically take the lazy option and shift the liability to Ofey.
If the shoe was on the other foot, would you sit there, smiling like a dumb idiot if someone tried to stiff you in a sales transaction? Leaving you with your cash locked up in merchandise you had to try and offload somehow to get your cash?
I don't think you would. So why do you think it's okay for you to do likewise and to crap down Ofey's throat, so to speak?
Double standards much guys. Hmmm. I don't think this sorta expectation in life should be on....

Amen Pete,
Everyone wonders why Ofey gets upset on CCJ....
This is real people and real money. Ofey advised that the final price figure could change. If it was a stretch to put down the initial deposit, then perhaps no EOI should have been put down.
I know everyone has circumstances, but why should you put Ofey in a position where he is out of pocket.
These group buys take a great deal of time to organise, and when people pull out that affects not only Ofey but all the fellow members.
I am in the process of doing a GB on the XR5 forum, I got 48 buyers and not 1 single person pulled out. Not even when there were issues with the supplier.
You need to be responsible for your actions. Ofey is not your father, it is not his responsibility to sort it out.

I see people wanting to pull out due to them listing their name as a Expression of Interest in the products till they get a set price. Not realizing they need to put $$ down to secure their product.
I had to explain it to my gf, she thought:
List your expression if interest.
Ofey negotiates a price based on list of people then gets back to us with $.
Then if people on that list are happy they say so or pull out, and process repeats till all people on list are happy with the price and ofey puts in order.
I had to explain that by putting your EOI in then that's committing to the buy and understanding there could be variances.
I paid my deposit as soon as I could.

Hmm I read the OP as dont put your name down unless you've got the cash to pay. As LZY_EYE said, if its a stretch for the deposit, dont put your name in.
I'll have to save for the paint job but at the end of the day I made sure the total amount for bonnet was available before putting my name down.
