well your CJ is black, so I guess a 'blackout' would be a bit pointless...what colour were you going to go?

It took me about 2 hours to fit the vinyl, and that was with 2 people. But then you have the option of taking it off again for whatever reason.
Obviously with painting you dont have that choice, how much would it cost?

I have the same issue with my black VR - what colour to use...

My sig is a Photoshop trying to show a Chrome colour - which is quite good... U can get Chrome coloured Vinyl, but it doesn't bend around corners and curves too well....

I'd bee heading toward a gunmetal grey or a Carbon Fibre weave perhaps....?

Main advantage with Vinyl is that you can take it off when you want.... ;-)

If i was you i will prefer tarquin ideal to use a chrome vinyl, since you car is a black .  another option, maybe you can cut 2 slot in the middle and insert 2 air vent into it, that may made your car look like EVO X

matt, if you having spray your bumper, than please don't spray it because i will have the Evo X front bumper middle air vent conver. ready before Dec08. plus the Evo x Number plate. off course my number plate is not that type of fitting quality you purchase from ebay. my number plate will be fit and place very nicely according to the shpae of the bumper.
