QLD - 30/10/11 - Kenilworth cruise and BBQ

Daniel (Speedie) and i went for a cruise last sunday to check out the roads between Kenilworth and home (Bunnings, Carseldine).

we found a nice spot by the creek to break out the ATB and have a photo op. (marked by the yellow square on the map at kidaman creek)

if we leave bunnings about 8.30am on sunday the 30th of october we should beat most of the traffic

(its about 4 hours max plus stops)

this will be a catered cruise for premium members, (non premium $5 each if u are eating)

i will do a runsheet before the date cos theres a few turns along the way and our friends at AMC will be invited, and of course if we like the cruise i`ll whack it in the cruise log.

meet at bunnings.....8am

toilet, coffee break, photo op

lunch at kidaman creek

(beef sausages & chicken sausages, rolls, onions, condiments and a few drinks will be supplied).

if its a hot day i`d suggest bringing extra drinks and also if u have special dietary needs u may want to bring your own food

WHAT TO BRING:

chairs, cb radios, cameras, hat, drinking cups, full tank of petrol

its only because of traffic considerations, but if we leave bunnings bout 8.30 it shouldnt be too bad.

how does everyone else feel about 8.30 sunday instead?

I'm itching do do a cruise, havent been on one since Bribie... 29th is better for me at this stage but since im WAY overdue for some holidays might take a few weeks off anyway
