Hey Guys and Girls
As discussed on the cruise last sunday, Rahul wants to do a Go Kart Day as it would be different to normal cruises, and i decided to start an EOI on CCJ
The Date would be Saturday December 3rd (due to that being after exams for all universities)
Warrens Ultra fast karts are up in Joondalup and are quite reasonablly priced and the karts are good (200cc if we want to race on barbegello race track). Website below:

I was thinking that going for the either the MIDI or MAXI Grand prix as i think that are reasonably priced. After the track we can continue to cruise or go grab lunch in the town.
So comment below if u are interested and say what date is good in november.
So start saving and lets try and get a big turn out
Regards
Matt

I went there 2 months ago and I wasn't really impressed with the karts.. they claim the karts go 100km/h and I find that hard to believe... if they DO go that fast then it gets there very slowly
having said that though they are still lots of fun, towards the end i got bored and started drifting corners then put a bit too much gas on the hairpin and lost it
Put me down as tentative, pending final date &if i'm free or not

On one hand, Graham's description turns me away... On the other hand, I'd probably kill myself on a kart that does 100kmph plus Graham you're used to bikes now
I'll come assuming we're not getting a ridiculously expensive package.
Its a race setup right? Not one at a time?
And as always, idc when it is, I should be fine any weekend.

yeah i was actually gna post about this but matt beat me to it.... i dont think we wanna do a long race cuz we might wanna cruise after so maybe the midi would be good.... plus there are trophys aka bragging rights .... so lets see who is keen and when then we can work from there.... i rkn cost wise shud be about 80-100 pp? we can also get bbq food there at an extra cost of i think 15 pp?
EDIT: yeap food looks pretty decent for the price....
All you can eat Lamb Chops and Sausages
Fresh Tossed Salad, Potato Salad & Coleslaw

Im really keen for a go kart day, glad to see this is finally happening!
A few things though:
The slow carts are...well, slow. I remember going around the jacks hill climb (not the main Barbagallo track) and not touching the brakes...
As for dates, my life is totally dependent on CA at the moment so the closer we get to my project (31 Oct) and my exam (15 Dec) the less likely I will make it .
Oh and I'd probably organise an alternative food source, from memory the bbq was a bit...average...
