Well if concrete dates had been provided from the outset perhaps we could have gotten CCJ involved.

ok. So as discussed in the other Olympic Park thread... who is keen for a meet at Olympic Park sometime?? :D I'm keen for getting some night shots if anyones into that.. otherwise day is good.

I know (going by the other thread) Brendon (BRE88N) and Stacey (BlueVRX) are. As am I and a couple others I know who would be keen... just gonna get a rough idea at the moment.

Mid week or a weekend thing? really depends on people's availability...

somewhere between these two dates?
Calender looks a bit empty... :P

October:
22 or 23 Oct 2011 (Sat or Sun) - Mini-meet - North-west region

November:
12 or 13 Nov 2011 (Sat or Sun) - Mini-meet - East/South/Metro region -

Maybe a weekend thing would be more doable to cater for those working full time -- as Olympic Park is kind of in the mid-west region, so it'd make it accessible to more I think.

Whens the best availability for you Pete?

Hahaha. I think I've taken/requested too many... and I've only been at my job for 1.5 months now. :P

I've checked the events for the weekend of the 29th and 30th October and whilst it looks like theres nothing really happening at both Acer Arena and ANZ Stadium around those days, on the 30th theres a Porsche Club NSW Judging Event (http://www.sydneyolympicpark.com.au/whats_on/shows_and_entertainment_events/porsche_club_nsw_concours_2011g) happening on one side of Olympic Park.... maybe we could subtly enter our Lancers? :D

PS. Its free entry. lol

Also @ bez3rk.. this is just a one off thing, that isn't part of the rotation.

Well maybe we should schedule a regular every 2 months, so we do car "porno" photo shoot at a location during the daytime (preferabel) so we can get half decent shots of people's cars as their mod journey progresses. Thoughts? Tho we do need varied shoot locations.... we can do night shoots, but will need the photography and lighting equipment to pull that off... perhaps we can get enough car porn to get a CCJ calender with all NSW cars in it. :P

hmmm sounds like a interesting idea, i know RNP's been done to death, but theres a spot about half an hour in that should be pretty sweet for pictures. then we can probably do a shoot in a car park at night.

Just some ideas, what do u guys think?

rsaysamone has some pretty good night shots (well lit too) done at Olympic Park I believe. Is someone usually the photographer? I could probably get my dad to do it.. Or someone else..

I'm ok with doing a Friday night if people can't do weekends.
