Hi Everyone,

My name is Matt, I currently live in Freshwater and I drive an black 08 Evo X MR. Previous cars have included a Mirage, CC Lancer Coupe, and Peugeot 307.

I have had the evo for about 5 months now and I can say it still makes me smile each time I jump in it.

No modifications to speak of so far other than (last week) removing some chrome door handle covers and having the chrome mirror covers wrapped in black matte satin vinyl.

Eventually I would like to give the car a bit more go and a better note with an MRT XB kit. I am also be tempted to have the car wrapped in matte black vinyl as it is currently parked outside; the look, and the protection for the paint appeal to me.

Anyway, I thought it worth noting the reason I have decided to join this forum was motivated by a very kind member "ofey". Irving was nice enough to help me out with an issue I am having with my MMCS before I was a member of the forum; this type of kindness and willingness to help is something I want to be a part of.

Hi Matt,

Unfortunately they were binned I’m sorry. I didn’t really figure anyone would want them and some were damaged slightly in the process of removing. The double sided tape used to hold them on proved particularly tough.

@ Matt ..... it's always a very special feeling when someone you've never meet before, treats and helps you in a willing & helpful way.
It gives you a sense of security and acceptance in a new place, which is often difficult and most times, only earned over time.
