Performance Package

Postby B3NNFTW » Mon Aug 29, 2011 6:18 pm

Hi guys, i know that RPW is a trusted place to go when getting modifications fitted.
However i was wondering if anyone else has got the Performance Package Stage 2 from these guys, and if its worth it?
If anyone was willing to help out, and can give me a general idea if it is worth its value then it will be much appreciated.
Also how can i tell if my lancer is the 4B11 or 4B12?

 *rofl*

I would not say it is worth it but it is up to you.

Best of luck, you will need it!

I'd shop around. They were dropped for a reason. Do the mods yourself and then go whereever for a tune.
David himself would tell you its probably not worth it (theres not too much to get out of a 2L). Or at least that's what he told me when he realised he wasn't getting any more money out of me :P

Hi Benn,

I personally wouldn't recommend RPW, but that's just my opinion.

I currently have my car in at Tokyo Motorsports getting a custom tune done. They are keen to put together a performance package of their own if there is enough interest.

To be honest, so far the service has been mediocre, they cater more for EVO's than normal lancers so in their defence they are flying blind - but I'll be posting a full review once I get the results of the tune back.

My advice would be to wait and see what magic they can work, and more importantly come to a cruise and have a chat (in the flesh) to people who have tried it all before.

Hope that helps :)

Ok thanks David and Matt! I think i might steer clear from them then if thats your experience with them bro!, and wait to see what David's review brings. I have until late November to make a decision so im not jumping into anything just yet.

In regards to cruises, i will be attending the cruise this weekend if it still goes ahead (:
