...well yesterday....
Serviced/topped up my battery cells with demineralised water ($4.98 for a 5L bottle from SuperCheap auto) - nearly two years and the plates were close to being exposed.
- so needed a top up - Note! An open cut and battery acid is not fun! So wear protection kids!!!!
Installed my Bosch wipers from the GB we had ages ago. I was getting some streaks on my OEM blades, and @ 30,000 the service manual suggests blade replacement, I'm close to that so what the heck!
Bought some new radiator coolant and topped up my resorvoir, it always sat at the "low" watermark even when the engine was hot - that's not a good thing!!! and only 28,000kms. Which leaves me plenty left over to do a radiator flush myself @45,000 - radiator holds around 7 litres i am told, so another 5L bottle plus my left over wil be plenty.
Bought some metal polish from SuperCheap auto and polished my GReddy blue tip... and gee shiny she is again! ... omg that bonnet is shiny too you can almost see your reflection in it...... and no, not metal polish!
sorry didn't get pix of the polshed metal tip....
Also installed the dash mat that I got a pressie today, that's contoured to the cowl, it too is a Super Cheap Auto number...
- but it's great and will solve the reflective glare I get in summer rendering the view out the windscreen useless in some conditions....

fit the dash mat with cable ties as the velcro glue can melt and leave a mess.

Don't think anyone could weld like this drunk, let alone weld like this all together. Always going to be people who don't have the same taste as me but I love them so thats all that matters. Defect notice for repair. Cut them shorter and fixed.
Edit: Why do I even bother with CCJ anymore.

yeah it came like that, had one in my previous car but it was blue so i got a red one this time to match the interior, got it from ebay, a little tricky to install, but then again im not exactly a wizz with wires and stuff
