I concur in terms of sentiment with bd-850.

If indeed, he is "Innocent", then why hasn't he come online and given the members some/or any explanation.

Consequently, if he genuinely cant give explanation for this very unusual occurrence .....
Then at least come online and "Profess his Innocence" as "Loud as he Can"

There were a few. All technically discredited and none that was substantially technically satisfactory to me.

Yeah I think members would like to know the highest-access account is secure.

Most likely it is secure. If you managed to obtain a password to an admin-level account for the forum software, you'd probably be more mischevious in your intent, edit posts, deface people's profiles, make rude posts, delete/ban random users, etc. I doubt you be pissing around jacking up the vote for 1 candidate in a vote. However if you were intent on screwing around with a poll, I doubt you'd be coming in at key points of the vote and jack up the vote in 4 different time periods for the same candidate.

yeah someone hacked Matts account and while in the process of stealing all your personal information they decided to vote for Mitch in ROTM 6 times.

11 extra votes actually, 4 distinct instances.

That just says a bunch of votes came from Mattigins account.

I will only state the technical facts, at this point in time.

At this stage, nothing. .... and it seems nothing more can be done about it. My system level access has been shut down as of today. I cannot do further forensic analysis (as I had intended to do over the weekend).
Perhaps, shining a light in dark places is not welcome...... I've had this access since we had the server issues earlier this year, all of sudden it's been zapped. Now, no one is going to convince me this was co-incidence, or a mistake, now are they?

If it WAS Matt putting in the extra votes, WHAT is going to be done? why should he be allowed to do it and get away with it. we should all be treated equally, no matter what your position is in the club.

Big "IF" - but "IF" it was, probably nothing. He's the president and owner of the site. He can do as he wishes if he wants.
Fact. I ask Matt, that the showcase gallery by taken down multiple times as soon as I stumbled across the irregularities - to save embarrassment to Mitch. The comm wont be wearing that bit of tardyness. Every single request was ignored. After having to go into system level and try and remove it last night, I guess it was sometime last night that my operating system "root" access was removed. Read into that what you will.

Note: I've never had admin level access to the forum software, phpbb. I'll state pretty much verbatim what I said in the comm thread, in the interests of transparency in what i'm saying.....
What myself and Matt had, was system level administrator access that underpins the operating system and the forum software that sits on top of it.
I too could be accused of inserting entries in the SQL database from the backend to frame Matt. However, I have no motive to do so and to what end? I have no malice against Matt. I get along fine with him.

The committee could've, but after all this drama, I don't think anyone would really feel like they won it with a big question mark over their win. so best to vacate the result and declare it "null and void".
