DATE: Friday, Septemeber 9 2011
TIME: 8:45am SHARP at the TRACK (first in first served)
Cost: $80 per 1/2day; $120 full day + $20 for a 1 day club licence & $5 helmet hire (if required)
Where: Lakeside Raceway (20 minutes North of Brisbane) Lakeside Rd, Kallanger QLD

your best bet is to stay in brisbane the night before

Sorry but I'll be away at Coffs Harbour spectating at the WRC event.

Otherwise I would be there.

BTW: for whoever asked, there is heaps of parking at Lakeside. Just turn right before crossing over into the track and drive around the outside of the track around Eastern Loop and to where the bridge/tunnel crossovers are.

Licence is per person.

What is the treadwear number on your tyres Steve? My Old Kumho's (KU31) had a TW rating of 320. The whole day on the track took maybe 5000k's off their life. I still managed to get 28,000 out of them, which is pretty incredible for me. I only got 18k from the stock Yoko's.
There was a guy there on the day who had Kumho KU36 (TR 140!) They had around 2000k's when he got to the track, and were slicks by the time he left after a full day.

If your tyres treadwear is 250+ you won't use much off them with just 1 or 2 sessions. Lucky to use 1000kms off them. Well worth the fun though

Yeah, 180 is pretty low, you most likely wouldnt get many k's out of them to begin with. Every 30 mins will probably wear about 1000km's off them lol - Still worth it for an hours fun if you ask me

And although we say here its not competitive.................. well...... we'll just wait and see
