Slash wrote:I would hit them up for a courtesy car... given they failed to deliver in time... Yes out of there control, but cant see why they couldnt give you an ES or something to run around in till the Evo can be replaced.

yeh they have given me an asx to cruise around in, the local dealer has been really good about it all and done everything they can. theres just a massive shortage of evo's gsr sst i guess. i just cant wait another 6 months its just torture. they should just upgrade me to an mr for free :) bit of a shame really i hope the next car i choose has a community like this one.

I see no reason it should take that long.

They must be able to speed it up for you...

Hit'em up for the MR.. the only thing your missing is the MMCS... pricewise... The rest of the goodies the MR comes with is only a minor price change compared to the option SST and MMCS...

Tell them you are considering cancelling the order... you just cant wait that long for a SST GSR.. is there a deal to be made on the MR? they might be willing to deal to keep your business..

I bought my MR at a GSR price. :)

I'd be cracking the proverbial "sheets"!

I'd talk to the dealer and tell them that should just bump someone else back one in the queue, something they can talk to dealer support at head office. You've been waiting long enough and it's not exactly your problem that they bungled this. Yes it's not the dealer's fault, either, but it's Mitsu australia's supply chain problem. Not yours. Yes the car carrier was probably contracted out, but still is an agent of MMAL.

If they can't deliver, I'd be walking too and make it clear that you are serious about walking. I'd would not be waiting for 12 months for a bloody car.... /rant

At least the dealer has been looking after you with a loaner. They given you that as a long term loaner?

thats exactly how i feel pete ! unfortunately ive exhausted all those options and more at this point , ive tried every different avenue and got nothing but alot of stress. took the loan car back, getting deposit back next week so no evo for me.

Thanks for all the support guys i hope no one has to experience anything like this ! it sucks.
