Usally, how much does rego cost on our lancers? Coz im really worried i aint gunna have enough money to pay for it, along with the rego.

i think rego is like a one off payment each year which is... i think 600 at the top of my head but if you have a health care card or something its 350! ><

Yeah if you have a health care card you get a discount I don't think its 350 though, i might be wrong though not sure. I have one too so it's of interest to me aswell.

I have personalised plates = My Initials & Month/Year of Birth - (CB0361)
That's why they are PERSONAL!!!
And they don't cost me any fees per year as they are the slimline black and white Premium plates ie NOT customs.
I think that's just as good as a name or title on your plates.

Yeah as long as you follow the standard layout - in my case LL NN LL it is cheap as: HO:66:YS

yeah theres several layouts.

I'm considering going the full Prestige option which is 6 numerics OR letters in any order so you can have six letters. Its a one off fee of about 2 grand but theres none of this yearly shit to worry about.

Nah, it's $495 for custom plates (in VIC), if your car is already registered they assign the new plates to your car and send out a new sticker. You still pay the $512 for rego whenever it renews. Does that make sense?

eg. I got my rego paid by the dealer, got custom plates 2 months later so the rego is still paid, it's just under BRNICA instead of the old one on VicRoads records. So in Feb next year I just pay the rego fee.
