hi.
so i came across this site randomly on google, and after some looking around it seems like this is as good a place as any to find out any info on the lacer..
anyway, i am thinking of buying a brand new lancer sx in about 4-6 months time. i need to save a bit first.
few questions i have tho..
currently the mitsu website says the current special offer is 20,990. should i assume this wont last too long and the price will jump back up, but would i have a good chance of haggling for this price (or close to) at a later date?
also does anyone know when the 2012 models are released (which i think is actually before 2012?), and when they are, do the 2011 models have there priced lowered instantly/easier to get it lowered?
i havnt brought a brand new car before so just trying to figure out the best way to go about it.
any help is much appreciated.

Hey Jacob, welcome to club CJ!
Go to as many dealerships as possible. You can usually haggle around 8% off of the initial price they give you.
I think you can get a good deal whenever so don't rush, if you are willing to buy, they will be willing to drop the price a little bit for the sale. But it is much easier to haggle down during periods like end of financial year sale, quota meets etc.
If the dealer won't budge, just go to another one. And try and get as many things thrown in as possible when you commit e.g. mats, full tank of fuel, bonnet + head light protector, stuff like that.
If you have any questions, just ask!
Ali.

im probably going to steer clear of demo models..
i dunno if anyone else has dont this but me and a mate were having a boring saturday so we put on our suits and decided to act rich and we test drove some bmw's and merc's, we just took them round the block and thrashed them, haha.
it was fun, but i assume this generally happens when cars get taken for a test drive?
any idea on how low u can push a new sx? and what kind of add ons are they generally happy to throw in?
