Hey everyone,
You might all think this one is a little bit out there, but I thought I'd pose the question to you all anyway.
I'm looking to install a drawer system in the back of my 2010 activ sportsback. I'm a photographer, and I have a lot of gear that I need to carry around and it often rolls around in the back. You can buy and/or make drawer systems for 44wdrives, but I'm wondering if anyone has ever made one for a lancer.
I'll probably build it myself, and probably use mostly wood.
Any thoughts, ideas, recommendations, warnings?
Cheers!

Great idea.
I guess just have a look at other systems that have been built.
My only suggestions of things to consider are;
• Keep the unit below the boot tray cover (so it is hidden to prying eyes when the boot is closed)
• Secure the box so the whole unit does not slide around
• Locks on the drawers?
• How to gain access to your spare wheel?
• You may have to upgrade the rear springs to cope with the constant load, the last thing you want is your car looking like a squatting camper.
