Got my axle back installed today. $320 installed, used a zetti muffler and largish chrome oval tip.

They painted everything black to hide it all which i like, but they forgot to take off the sticker on the muffler and thus if the sticker comes off ill have a big unpainted section. But eh, i had a look tonight and it looks like it will stay put. If it comes off ill go back and get them to fix it up.

Hey Ash ..... Your Lancer is a CVT Auto, if I'm not mistaken ....
And the "S-Bend" fitment they used, is the best method from all the exhaust mods I've been involved in.

So how does it sound ....?
Are you happy with it....?

Hey sam,

yeah its a 2.0l CVT. I was actually wondering about the bend vs straight through setup. That being said i asked for something relatively quite that would be quiet when cruising but sporty under load so that could be why they did it that way perhaps?

Quite happy with the sound to be honest, not to farty and gets a nice pitch to it when i go heavy on the pedal. :)

That's good Ash..... getting it right with Exhausts and Mufflers can be quite daunting sometimes, especially if you encounter dodgy or misleading shops who are only interested in disposing of unwanted or unpopular stock.

Cheers: Sam....

I finally got around to adjusting the headlight and fog lamp beam (throw) - as since lowering (last year) and tilting my car down, the headlamp range was very diminished and useless in unlit roads. :)

I should write a how to......
"the quieter you become, the more you are able to hear"

Sounds like you're already planning it :) I'd be sure to read it, I haven't touched mine since lowering (laziness on my part I think)!

Drove it for the first time in a week. Yayyyyy Made me happy :)

Now it needs a clean because it's still covered in mud from where it was flung up when the girls got bogged.
